MBAI 5ecure is one of the newest offerings of AFPMBAI. It is a very affordable 5-year term insurance plan that provides maximum protection. This plan can be availed by regular members, retirees, dependents and Associate members aged 20 to 65 years old.

Regular members, retirees, dependents and Associate members aged 20 to 65 years old can avail of MBAI 5ecure.
MBAI 5ecure can easily be availed online. It has a minimum coverage of P100,000, with no maximum coverage amount*, is payable in five (5) years, and can be converted to a permanent plan.

MBAI 5ecure provides pure protection only, and is a non-participating plan (without policy dividends), has no non-forfeiture option, cannot be renewed, has no riders and has no cash surrender values.
This plan can be availed within the Philippines and other countries*.
*MBAI 5ecure can be availed in other countries, except the following: Libya, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel (case to case), Lebanon, Pakistan (case to case), Syria and Yemen (Territorial Restrictions, AFPMBAI Disposition Form about Insurance Application of OFWs in July 2005)
MBAI 5ecure premiums are computed based on the age of the insured on the individual’s last birthday as of the policy effective date. Premiums reflected are not yet final and are subject to change based on Underwriting’s evaluation.

You can pay for your MBAI 5ecure premium through any AFPMBAI branch or extension office, and in any of the following accredited payment centers: Land Bank, Metrobank, SM Bills Pay, Palawan Express Pera Padala, LBC, and thru online payment via Land Bank Pay mobile app, Metrobank Online, and Paymaya mobile app (soon).
You will be billed via an official SMS from AFPMBAI and a billing statement through a printed letter addressed to you.
Your MBAI 5ecure policy contract will be sent to the registered email you used to avail of the plan, once receipt of your correct initial premium payment has been confirmed and posted.
You can request for a printed copy of your policy contract at the AFPMBAI Head Office or in any of the Association’s branches nationwide for free. However, for succeeding issuances due to loss or misplacement, a reissuance fee of P50 shall be charged. Please email the Policy Issuance and Monitoring Section at pims@afpmbai.ph.

Request for MBAI 5ecure plan cancellation may be done upon submission of the application and anytime while the policy is in force. Kindly send your formal request to membership@afpmbai.ph. However, this is highly discouraged as insurance coverage will be discontinued and no refunds shall be given to the policyholder.
All digital copies of the MBAI 5ecure policy contracts are stored in Accedata, AFPMBAI’s core policy administration system.

AFPMBAI is under the jurisdiction of the Insurance Commission, and one of its purposes is “to provide life and accident insurance, housing and other similar services to members and their families.” (Letter G, Page 6 of AFPMBAI’s Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation)
MBAI 5ecure information provided is valid for 6 months from the date of submission of the application form.
