The AFPMBAI would like to thank all the members from the various branches of service who participated in the recent #EverydayHeroes Video Contest in celebration of our 59th Anniversary.
After an internal selection process for the Top 20 Semifinalists and the Top 10 Finalists, which were later uploaded on our official Facebook Page for voting by Likes, management has discovered and verified hacking and irregularities during the Likes campaign.
Because of this incident and after receiving appeals from contestants, a MANUAL RECOUNT of Likes was conducted and NON-FOLLOWERS of the AFPMBAI Page were ELIMINATED, as indicated in the contest rules (https://bit.ly/AFPMBAIEverydayHeroes) that the Top 10 Finalists will be voted on by Followers only. The total scores were then tabulated with equivalent points for each Like, Care, Heart, or Wow reaction.
We apologize for the delay in the announcement of the final list of winners for the video contest. The recount was done for consistency with the contest rules, for integrity and fair competition for all.
All finalists truly deserve recognition for sharing their creativity, passion, and inspiration with the AFPMBAI community.
