Who can join:
The promo is open to all Regular and Associate AFPMBAI members, including their qualified dependents.
How it works:
Simply invite someone to apply for membership or purchase an insurance plan. Just make sure your name and complete contact details are indicated as the “Referrer” on their insurance application form.
Promo duration:
The promo runs from January 5 to September 30, 2026. Take note that this is limited to the first 8,000 successful referrals, so do not miss your chance to refer and earn!
PROMO MECHANICS
I.GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE AND DURATION
This NATIONWIDE promo will run for a period of eight (8) months starting, from January 05, 2026 to September 30, 2026.
II.ELIGIBILITY
The promo is open to ALL REGULAR and ASSOCIATE MEMBERS of the AFPMBAI who are any of the following:
REGULAR MEMBERS
- Military personnel in the active service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines(AFP);
- Uniformed personnel in the active service of the Philippine National Police (PNP),Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP),Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor); and
- Retired and honorably separated or discharged AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP and PCG personnel who converted their basic insurance into paid up insurance or who enrolled in MBAI iProtek (Plan 499/999).
As defined in the attached Definition of Terms (Attachment A).
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
- Reservists, Cadets, Security Guards, CAFGUAA, Coast Guard Auxilliary, SCAA, NBI, Bureau of Immigration, NAMRIA, Airport Police, Customs Police, PDEA, Civilian employees of the AFPSLAI and other AFP Financial Institutions, NUP/Civilian personnel of AFP, PNP, PCG, BFP, BJMP, BuCor, and other uniformed service units.
- Spouse, parents, and children of regular members.
III. MECHANICS
1. A regular or Associate member who refers another member (the Referrer) to signup for a Permanent Insurance Plan (PIP), MBAI Protek (for PNP only) or MBAI iProtek (for Associate Members) (the Referee) shall receive referral incentives outlined below, provided that the signed application has been effected or is already included in the remittance list. The promo is limited to a maximum of eight thousand (8,000) approved referrals.

2. A Regular Member who refers a qualified PNP personnel who signs up for either a PIP or MBAI Protek shall be entitled to receive the following:

Note: PNP personnel must first avail of MBAI Protek to be eligible for PIP.
3. In the event that an ISF commits any unethical act, including but not limited to collusion with a policyholder for the purpose of obtaining incentives, or engages in similar unethical practices as previously observed in referral programs (e.g., the Insure and Refer Rewards Program), such as intentional duplication of insurance policies, appropriate disciplinary action shall be imposed. This shall include forfeiture and deduction of all incentive amounts from the representative’s commission and may include suspension or other administrative sanctions, depending on the severity of the violation.
4. SMD personnel shall verify the identities of both Referrer and Referee. The Marketing Division will provide regular program updates during ManCom meetings.
5. Referral incentives shall be awarded to individual Referrers only. Referrals shall be processed through branch personnel or ISFs. Thus, ISFs and/or branch personnel must completely fill out the Referrer’s Information stamped on the application form prior to submission.
6. Online referrals submitted directly by members shall also be allowed.
7. After the Referee fills out and signs the application and ATD Forms, the ISF and/or branch personnel must completely fill-out the stamp box with the following information:

- Referrer’s Name
- Referrer’s Rank, Branch of Service and Serial/Account No.
- Referrer’s mobile number(GCash) or Land bank ATM Account
- Date and time of signing
8. The date and time of signing shall determine the official Referrer in cases where two members submit the same referral.
9. Applications with incomplete Referrer information shall not be processed for referral incentive.
10. All application and ATD forms shall be submitted to the nearest AFPMBAI branch or extension office through the Insurance Sales Force (ISF) personnel for processing. The ISF Personnel shall be in charge of product presentation and providing assistance on the referred business, when necessary.
11. Referrers may request a scheduled caravan for product feature presentations.
12. Exclusions from the Promo:

- Referees who are not eligible to be an associate member or regular member of AFPMBAI under its By-laws.
- Referrers who submit their own MBAI Protek (for PNP personnel only)Permanent Insurance Plan (PIP) and MBAI iProtek applications.
- If there is already an PIP, MBAI Protek or MBAI iProtek application in process.
- Applications without “Effected” status in Accedata or not certified by the RSSC Head as included in the latest Remittance List.
IV. GUIDELINES ON THE PROCEDURE/GRANT OF REFERRAL INCENTIVES
1. The Referrer must have an active contact number, a valid ID, and a bank account (GCash or Land Bank ATM).
2. The incentive shall be credited once the referee’s insurance application is effected.
3. UPMD shall update the Google Sheet tracking system with relevant details for both referrer and referee:
- For Referrer: BOS, date received, (RSSC) date signed, time signed, rank, name, serial number, ID number, unit assignment, birthdate, contact number, ISF code, area (RSSC), received by (RSSC), name of Insurance Sales Analyst, and policy type.
- For Referee: BOS, rank, referee name, insured name, serial/account number, ID number, birthdate, email address, mobile number, date signed, application number, application status, and policy type.
4. Marketing Division shall coordinate with AMD with the approved policy list from UPMD. AMD shall verify the effected policies and submit the verified report to the Marketing Division.
5. The Marketing Division shall contact the successful referrers to collect their GCash or bank account details, along with a Valid ID, in order to deposit the referral incentive.
6. Verified and approved applications with a GCash or ATM account, along with a valid ID, will be prepared with an RFP and forwarded to the Accounting Department and the CMD for the release of incentives.
7. All referral incentives are non-transferable.
V. DISQUALIFIED PARTICIPANTS:
AFPMBAI employees, suppliers, contractors, vendors, agencies and consultants, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are disqualified from joining the promotion.
ATTACHMENT A – DEFINITION OF TERMS
- CARAVAN – an event where a team composed of AFPMBAI branch personnel, ISF, or Loan Agent visits a camp or worksite for MBAI Protek product feature presentations.
- EFFECTIVITY DATE –the date by which the Permanent Insurance Plan (PIP) insurance coverage takes effect after the payment of the first monthly premium.
- INSURANCE SALES FORCE (ISF) – accredited insurance representatives or agents representing AFPMBAI assigned in the RSSC’s/branches/extension offices who are tasked to sell and perform product presentation and providing assistance on the referred insurance plans.
- PERMANENT INSURANCE PLAN (PIP) – an optional insurance plan offered by the Association to both regular and associate members, provided that they have an in-force MBAI Protek or MBAI iProtek.
- REFEREE – a member/prospective member who is referred by the Referrer to the Insurance Representative for them to enroll in a PIP or MBAI Protek.
- REFERRER – a regular member, except AFPMBAI employees, who refers another member/prospective member to avail of an insurance plan from AFPMBAI.
- REFERRAL – is the act of the Referrer referring to a member/prospective member to avail of an insurance plan.
- REFERRAL INCENTIVE – is a reward incentive given to the Referrer for every effective insurance application.
- REGULAR MEMBERS – as defined in the By-Laws shall refer to:
- military personnel in the active service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP);
- uniformed personnel in the active service of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor); and
