On January 10, 2025, the AFPMBAI held a historic town hall meeting via Zoom, establishing vital preparatory steps for the year with clear goals and renewed motivation. The program’s highlights included the unveiling of the revised Vision and Mission statements, which are now more closely aligned with the Association’s broader objectives. This momentous event also established two new primary corporate values—Synergy and Excellence—as essential components of the AFPMBAI.
The Association’s President and CEO, RAdm Dorvin Jose L Legaspi PN (Ret), addressed the online assembly with an inspiring speech that emphasized the importance of progress and unity. The workforce was reminded of the significant role each individual plays in AFPMBAI’s success. The values of Synergy and Excellence reflect the Association’s commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and a steadfast dedication to serving its members. President Legaspi’s message challenged the whole AFPMBAI team towards the end of his message with the following words, “Let us embrace the opportunities ahead with enthusiasm and determination as we honor our past. Let us look to the future, setting new benchmarks for what we can achieve together. Thank you also for your dedication, professionalism, and the passion you bring to your work. Together, we will make 2025 a year to remember, a year where we continue to make a difference and write the next chapter of AFPMBAI’s legacy.”
Renowned motivational speaker, Bro. Bo Sanchez further delved into the main topics of the official event through his compelling 60-minute discussion, which complemented the main agenda of the online meeting. His talk explored the fundamentals of excellence and synergy, showing how these principles can improve both individual and group performance. Bro. Bo’s observations emphasized the unwavering pursuit of excellence in accomplishing the AFPMBAI’s objective and the transformational potential of teamwork. He even expounded on achieving excellence by setting goals, striving for growth and development, pursuing teamwork, and ultimately identifying one’s personal life purpose. Synergy also involves working towards a shared goal, achieved through effective communication and a sincere concern for others. Apart from learning from the session with him, Bro. Bo hoped and prayed that attendees’ mindsets change, and remarked that “When your mindset changes, your life changes. You perceive life, yourself, your work and your organization differently.”
