What is MBAI e-Konsult Rewards?
This rewards program aims to provide members FREE 24/7 telemedicine consultation that is more accessible, cost effective and convenient. The program is an additional support to its members and their families, most especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What are its benefits?
- Free 24/7 access to online or telemedicine consultation with primary care doctors across different platforms
- 2 video teleconsultations per month
- Interpretation of laboratory results from both in-house and DOH-accredited laboratories/clinics
- Issuance of prescription, if necessary
- Primary mental health service
- Medical advice for COVID-19 related cases following DOH’s algorithm and protocols
- At the expense of the member, option for home service laboratory tests (when available)
- Eligible member can enroll an additional dependent in the program

Who can avail of the rewards program?
Members who have availed/will avail of the following from 01 January – 31 December 2022:
- Salary Loan / Member’s Educational Assistance Loan (MEDAL)
- Permanent insurance policy, MBAI 5ecure and MBAI iProtek with effected 1st premium
- Approved Real Estate Mortgage Loan (REML)
- MBAI Protek with effected 1st premium (for PNP ONLY)
What are the benefits of this program?

What are the other features and limitations of this program?
- MBAI e-Konsult can only be availed by eligible members (See “Who can avail of the rewards program?”). This is valid for 1 year only, starting from the date of members’ activation in the program. Other health services provided by KonsultaMD (telemedicine provider) are not included, and are to be shouldered by the member.The following are not covered by the program:
- Non-residents of the Philippines*
- Immediate medical care for emergency cases at the time of activation
- Telemedicine consultation using another provider/network
- Video teleconsultation in excess of the 2 monthly allowable sessions
* Non-residents of the Philippines are not allowed to access the Telemedicine Consultation service since doctors engaged in the Telemedicine Consultation are licensed to practice and prescribe medication within the Philippines only. How can I avail of the program?
- To avail of MBAI e-Konsult, kindly see the process below:
- Members need to avail of participating AFPMBAI products from 01 January – 31 December 2022 (See “Who can avail of the rewards program?”)
- Eligible Members will be informed via SMS and email
- Members need to fill out MBAI e-Konsult Rewards Google Form
- Members will be given the following after accomplishing the Google Form:
- Confirmation via SMS/email
- MBAI e-Konsult voucher/activation code
- Instructions for activation
How do I cancel my subscription to the program?
- Cancellation can be done via the mobile application or with the assistance of a Wellness Representative through the KonsultaMD hotline. Once subscription is cancelled, it cannot be undone.
