The Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) once again earned the Golden Arrow Award (2 Arrows) from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Insurance Commission (IC) during the Golden Arrow Recognition Ceremony held on 23 October 2025 at at the Okada Manila.
This milestone marks the fourth consecutive year that AFPMBAI has been recognized for its excellence in good corporate governance, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership.

The honor is especially significant as it coincides with AFPMBAI’s 60th Diamond Anniversary, celebrated on September 1, 2025. In 2023, the Association achieved an impressive ranking—5th among 35 mutual benefit associations and 22nd among 114 insurance companies in the Philippines—based on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).

Today, AFPMBAI stands as the nation’s largest mutual benefit association, with total admitted assets of Php45 billion and legal policy reserves of Php21 billion, as validated by the Insurance Commission Audit as of end-December 2024.
This latest recognition affirms AFPMBAI’s steadfast dedication to serving its members—soldiers, police, firefighters, and other uniformed personnel—with integrity, financial strength, and trust built over six decades.
