
The Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) expresses its profound condolences to the families and loved ones of the six valiant Philippine Air Force soldiers killed in the aircraft crash in Agusan del Sur last November 4, 2025. The crew was carrying out humanitarian aid and disaster response operations in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Tino when the sad tragedy happened.

AFPMBAI, as part of its commitment to the welfare of uniformed personnel and their families, has provided immediate cash assistance to the beneficiaries of the late 2LT Royce Louis G Camigla PAF, A1C Ericson R Merico PAF, and SGT John Christopher C Golfo PAF, as well as coordination for the release of assistance to the designated beneficiaries of the late SGT Yves B Sijub PAF and A1C Ameer Khaidar T Apion PAF. Meanwhile, the family of the late CPT Paulie D Dumagan PAF has requested that the aid be deferred while they attend to the arrival and arrangements for their loved one’s remains.
As AFPMBAI members, said fallen airmen are covered by the Association’s MBAI Protek basic insurance plan, particularly its Killed-in-Action Benefit. The Member’s Equity Value, comprising 50% of total monthly contributions, plus interest, is also given to the designated beneficiaries.
AFPMBAI joins the whole Philippine Air Force in recognizing the heroism, devotion, and selfless commitment of these airmen who died in the course of service. Their bravery and dedication to serve will long inspire their compatriots and future generations who strive to uphold patriotism and public service.
