The Association proudly shares its victory after bagging the Social Impact Champion award at the recent 14th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards on August 20, 2026, at the Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. AFPMBAI was among the 16 finalists, comprising some of the country’s finest developers, feted for their best projects, designs, sustainability initiatives, and innovations within the industry throughout the past year.
In his acceptance speech, AFPMBAI President and CEO MGen Peter Angelo L Ramos PA (Ret) underscored the Association’s role in providing not only real estate product solutions but also going the extra mile of service through its corporate social responsibility initiatives: “Driven by a sincere social impact heart, we not only serve our military and uniformed personnel by providing sustainable and attainable housing, but we also safeguard the future of our soldiers and their dependents by constructing vital hospital wards and donating critical medical equipment nationwide.”
MGen Ramos likewise thanked the jurors for choosing AFPMBAI as this year’s Social Impact Champion. The Association’s victory places it among the industry’s best, as real estate giants Robinsons Land Corporation and Alveo by Ayala Land previously won the same award.

“We do not only build homes, but we champion a well-rounded social impact mandate to ensure the health and welfare of those who protect our nation,” MGen Ramos added.

The President and CEO was joined by Col Alexander F Tuprio PA (Ret), AFPMBAI’s Independent Trustee; along with the Association’s executives: VAdm Eduardo D Fabricante PCG (Ret), Sales and Operations Group Head and COO; MGen Nestor Florente DC Rayos PAF (Ret), Corporate Services Group Head and CCSO; LtGen William N Gonzales PA (Ret), Loans Division Head; Jeff Matthew L Uy, Social Services Office Head; Atty Maricarr M Mirabel, Legal Office Head; Flordeliza D Ocabania, Finance Division Head; and Michelle A Espulgar, Real Estate Loans Head.
More than a celebration of the Association’s social impact, this recognition serves as a renewed promise. It propels AFPMBAI forward to do more and serve more with even greater purpose—continuously striving to give every member and their loved ones a true and lasting Buhay na Panatag.
