I. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE AND DURATION
This raffle draw is intended for AFPMBAI’s 57th Anniversary Celebration to be held on 02 September 2022 during the Main Program from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
II. MECHANICS
1. Who can join:
• ALL REGULAR MEMBERS of the AFPMBAI, as defined in attached Definition of Terms.
• ALL ASSOCIATE MEMBERS (as defined by the attached Definition of Terms) with in-force/active insurance
policies with AFPMBAI.
2. To qualify, members will undergo pre-registration process wherein they will submit their personal and contact
details through an online pre-registration form, for validation by Membership and Policy
Services Section (MPSS) to confirm that they are valid AFPMBAI regular or associate members.
Deadline for pre-registration is 12:00 PM of 26 August 2022.
3. MPSS will come up with a list of members eligible for the raffle draw, based on their validation of everyone
who filled out the pre-registration form. This list of valid members will be the basis for the raffle draw.
4. The ten (10) Consolation Prizes and ten (10) Minor Prizes will be pre-drawn on the afternoon of 31 August 2022.
5. The Major Prizes will be drawn LIVE during the Anniversary Program.
6. An electronic raffle draw will be conducted to draw the winners.
7. All AFPMBAI employees, insurance sales force, and members of the Board of Trustees are disqualified from
joining the raffle.
III. RAFFLE PRIZES
1. A total of Twenty-Five (25) Winners will be drawn for the Anniversary Celebration.
2. Raffle entries will vie for the following prizes:
• Grand Prize [LIVE RAFFLE DRAW]
Grand Prize One (1) Winner Fifty-seven Thousand Pesos (P57,000)
• Major Prizes [LIVE RAFFLE DRAW]
Second (2nd) Prize One (1) Winner Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000)
Third (3rd) Prize One (1) Winner Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000)
Fourth (4th) Prize One (1) Winner Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000)
Fifth (5th) Prize One (1) Winner Eight Thousand Pesos (P8,000)
• Minor Prizes [PRE-DRAWN BEFORE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION]
Ten (10) Winners Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) EACH
• Consolation Prizes [PRE-DRAWN BEFORE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION]
Ten (10)Winners Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000) EACH
3. All cash prizes are non-transferable.
IV. DRAWING OF WINNERS
1. Each valid member is entitled to one (1) raffle entry only.
2. The electronic raffle entries shall be raffled off using an E-Raffle Software developed by IT Division of AFPMBAI.
3. Winners will be drawn starting from the Consolation Prizes with 10 winners and Minor Prizes with
10 winners as well. Both will be pre-drawn, and the following will be drawn live: Major Prizes
with four (4) winners and the Grand Prize last.
4. A raffle entry can only win once, if his/her name is drawn already, the system automatically
eliminates his/her name from the list of entries for succeeding winners to be drawn.
5. The draw shall be witnessed and certified/validated by Internal Audit Office, Marketing,
and ITD representatives. Drawing of winners will be documented.
V. ANNOUNCEMENT AND AWARDING OF WINNERS
1. Names of winners will be posted during the Anniversary Program on the AFPMBAI website
and in our official social media accounts.
2. Marketing will consolidate all details and submit to the Cash Management Department (CMD)
through Ms Felisa T Lingan on 07 September 2022. CMD will then electronically
deposit the cash prizes to the respective winners.
DEFINITION OF TERMS
1. Regular Members – The following are considered regular members:
a. Military personnel in the active service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
b. Uniformed personnel in the active service of the Philippine National Police (PNP)
c. Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)
d. Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)
e. Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)
f. Retired and honorably separated or discharged AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP and PCG personnel
who converted their basic insurance into paid up insurance or purchased optional insurance,
2. Associate Members – The following shall be eligible for associate membership
a. Members of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC);
b. Reservists of the AFP
c. Members of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit Active Auxiliary (CAFGUAA), Coast
Guard Auxiliary, and Special CAFGUAA (SCAA), Volunteer Fire Brigade, Bureau of
Corrections, and other uniformed service units
d. Civilian employees of the AFPSLAI, AFPGEN, and other AFP financial institutions, non-uniformed
personnel of the AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP, PCG and other organizations and agencies connected
with the uniformed services, such as the PMAAAI, as the Board of Trustees may approve.
e. Spouses, direct ascendants, and direct descendants of regular and associate members
f. Duly licensed private security guards and regular employees of security agencies
g. Cadets and graduates of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA),
Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), and Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP)
