MBAI Achiever Raffle Promotion Mechanics
I. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE AND DURATION
This NATIONWIDE promo will run from APRIL 15, 2024 TO JULY 31, 2024.
II. MECHANICS:
The promo is open to ALL REGULAR UNIFORMED SERVICES MEMBERS and ASSOCIATE MEMBERS of the AFPMBAI, as defined in attached Definition of Terms (Attachment A).
1. AFPMBAI Members can acquire raffle entries by applying for the MBAI Achiever plan for the period of April 15, 2024 to July 31, 2024.
2. For approved MBAI Achiever plan, payor-members are entitled to the following:
– For face amount P100,000 and below: 1 raffle entry
– For face amount over P100,000: 1 raffle entry for every P100,000 face amount
Example: An approved plan with face amount of P550,000 would entitle the payor-member to 5 raffle entries.
3. The Marketing Division will request for the list of qualified entries to be extracted from the Accedata covering the period of April 15, 2024 to July 31, 2024. Data
should contain the following information per approved application:
- Name of Member who applied for insurance
- Member’s contact number
- Member’s unit assignment
- Estimated modal premium
- Face Amount applied for by Member
- Name of Insurance Representative
- Name of Field Area Manager/Group Leader
4. If the application is still pending for approval by the end of the promo period, only those who have completed the documentary requirements by July 31, 2024, per assessment by the Underwriting, Policy and Membership Department, shall be considered eligible for the promotion. Similar to para 3, necessary information will be extracted from Accedata for the raffle entries.
5. The data gathered shall be stored in an in-house database and shall be subject to a raffle draw on September 2, 2024 (Monday). There will be a total of eight (8) raffle draws corresponding to the number of prizes available for the Members, including the draw for back-up winners.
6. Procurement Section will be responsible for sourcing suppliers of the prizes and delivering them to the preferred nearest AFPMBAI Branch of winners.
III. RAFFLE PRIZES
1. The raffle entries will vie for the following prizes:
Major Prize Three (3) Winners Three (3) Acer Laptops
Minor Prize Five (5) Winners Five (5) Huawei Tablets
2. All major and consolation prizes are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash.
IV. DRAWING OF WINNERS
1. Each approved and qualified application will be assigned a corresponding raffle number/s to serve as raffle entry.
2. The winners will be drawn starting from the consolation prizes first and the grand prizes last. A raffle entry can win only once.
3. The raffle draw will be conducted offline on September 2, 2024 (Monday) at 2:00 PM, at AFPMBAI Head Office. Drawing of winners will be documented.
V. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Winners will be notified via SMS, e-mail, and/or call out of a representative and registered mail from the Marketing Division.
VI. AWARDING OF WINNERS
1. Raffle prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of notification from AFPMBAI. Otherwise, the prizes shall be forfeited and retained by AFPMBAI.

VII. CLAIMING OF PRIZES
1. To claim prizes, winners must bring their National ID (PhilSys ID) or any two of the following government IDs:
Philippine Passport
Driver’s License
PhilHealth ID
Voter’s ID
Postal ID
TIN Card
Additional IDs acceptable (for Associate Members only):
UMID Card
GSIS Card
2. In the event that the winner is unable to claim the prize, an authorized representative can claim on behalf of the member but shall be required to present
the following:
- National ID or two valid government IDs of the winner/member
- Original copy of the winner’s authorization letter
- Two valid government IDs of the authorized representative
VIII. DISQUALIFIED PARTICIPANTS
AFPMBAI’s employees, suppliers, contractors, vendors, agencies and consultants, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
ATTACHMENT A – DEFINITION OF TERMS
a. Regular Members – The following are considered regular members:
- Military personnel in the active service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
- Uniformed personnel in the active service of the following:
– Philippine National Police (PNP)
– Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)
– Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)
– Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)
– Bureau of Corrections (BuCor)
– Retired and honorably separated or discharged AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP, PCG and BuCor personnel
b. Associate Members – The following are considered associate members
Civilian Soldiers under RA 7077
Trainees of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
Members of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit Active Auxiliary (CAFGUAA), and other
uniformed service units that are primarily involved in national defense, enforcement of laws, and
in the maintenance of peace, order and security, as the Board of Trustees may approve
Civilian employees of the AFPSLAI, and other AFP financial institutions, non-uniformed personnel
of the AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP, PCG, BuCor, and other organizations, agencies, institutions, and
sectors connected with the uniformed services, associated with security, and peace and order, and
as of the Board of Trustees may approve
Duly licensed private security guards and regular employees of security agencies
Cadets and graduates of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA), Philippine National
Police Academy (PNPA), and Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP)
Accredited Insurance Sales Force and Loan Agents of AFPMBAI
Legitimate spouse, parents, and legitimate, legitimated and/or legally adopted children of regular
members
c. MBAI Achiever – a plan payable within 5 years for children aged 0-11 years old, wherein children are
insured, along with a monthly payment waiver in case the members passes away or the member
becomes totally and permanently disabled
